Doctor is derived from the Latin word “Docere,” meaning teacher. I see myself as a teacher; guiding patients with my knowledge to provide them with the tools to support their own long-term health. While receiving my Doctor of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Illinois, I realized that a person’s health goes much deeper than the physical aspects I was addressing. Pursuing a naturopathic doctorate allowed me to focus on this whole-body approach to healing and give patients the best chance of overcoming health obstacles and preserve their life-long health.
I believe in restoring health through non-invasive therapies such as: chiropractic manipulation and various myofascial techniques, nutritional counseling, mineral and vitamin supplementation, botanical medicine, and acupuncture. I use both conventional and functional diagnostic techniques to investigate the root cause of each patients’ unique set of symptoms.
I have additional post-graduate training in functional medicine, fertility, pediatrics, acupuncture, nutrition, and functional rehabilitation. I have a passion for supporting women through the pregnancy to post-partum period, pediatric health & wellness, and all the hormone and gastrointestinal issues between.
My professional affiliations include Illinois Association of Naturopathic Physicians (IANP), International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP), Illinois Chiropractic Society (ICS), and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA)
